Mission and Purpose
The Board of Elders is responsible for the spiritual welfare of the congregation under the guidance of Pastor Schaefer. Our purpose is to aid the Pastor in the spiritual affairs of the church, guarding the purity of preaching and teaching in the church and school. We watch over the godly walk and life of the Pastor, school staff, church officers, the members of St. Peter’s Evangelical Lutheran Church and the students enrolled in our parochial school. Additionally, we supervise the orderly conduct of our public worship and provide aid for the sick and needy of the congregation.
