St. Peter's holds unreservedly to the Holy Scriptures as the true and infallible Word of God, and to the Lutheran confessional statements as set forth in the Book of Concord of 1580.

St. Peter's is a sacramental church, offering the mercy of Christ through Holy Baptism, Holy Communion, and through the absolution given in the Divine Service. We also offer private absolution at regularly scheduled times and by appointment with the pastor.

St. Peter's is also a liturgical church, conducting its worship according to the rites of the ancient church.
